engine struggles to start cold

Aloha

I have noticed with my car. On cold start ups, like after it has sat overnight. It struggles to start. I mean it's not that bad but takes a few cranks then starts, sounds a little rough, low rpms, low power. Then after a few seconds it's fine. And it's fine the rest of the day. Then when it sits overnight does same thing.

Could this be because of worn piston rings?

Engine light is only on for coolant temp sensors. Emissions light is on tho.

I have a aftermarket temp guage installed because stock temp sensors aren't working. So fans are jumped, and I go off of aftermarket guage.

No. DIdn't you already test compression on that thing and found it to be OK?

temp sensors need to work. Your engine uses them.

It was explained to you a month ago: https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/postid/322789/

Could this be because of worn piston rings?

No. That causes lack of power when trying to accelerate.

Emissions light is on tho.

Get it scanned for codes.
