I have a 2003 lincoln town car executive that it starts up. When I give it gas it won't go over 10 mph. When the car gets to operating temperature, the car starts popping under the hood. Then the car dies. Once the car cools down, starts back up and runs only up to 10 mph and then dies again when it heats up again. What might be wrong with the car?

A large number of things. Start with the simple stuff - filters, spark plugs, fuel pressure, catalytic converter clogging. Scan for codes and data.
