the anti theft red car with key is flashing and ticking and car won’t start. i’ve tried turning the key and putting a new battery in my key fob. 02 sequoia 300k miles just got this car a month ago. dealership saying it’ll be 500$+ and so is locksmith. any free fixes because i simply don’t have any money right now.

Your anti theft system is active. Do you have a spare key to try?

Take it back to the stealership and shove it up their a**.
