Hi Scott I'm in desperate need of your expertise. I recently hooked up a three prong toggle switch to my ignition to power my passenger low beam headlight. Well the kit I had came with 2 toggles so i thought it would be cool to have them both light up but just the one serving it's purpose. I knew the ground is what made the first one light up so I thought I'll just run a jumper from ground on first to make the other one light up and it shorted something out and my car won't turn over.

I did and replaced 2. Got it back started and followed the same steps that flawlessly worked and had my headlight working off of the toggle the first time and it did the same thing. Funny thing is it worked great for days. I'm going back out in the morning and undoing the toggle for good. Replacing the fuses again and get it back going. Taking the headlight assembly out and fixing it the appropriate way. Cutting corners never works for me lol
