Carvana Banned

Have you seen that Carvana has been banned in Wake Co. in North Carolina until sometime in 2022. Thats where the state capital is so it's a pretty big blow for them. Apparently some lazy title work, selling cars that aren't current on inspections, among other things.

Anytime I can avoid people, I do. I actually like their model and the vending machine, though a gimmick, is a good one.

I do know some people who have had good experiences there as well. So I would say it's a mixed bag like most dealerships.

In terms of Carvana, you don't even have to talk to a person to get a car- you put a coin in and pay online. You don't know the condition of the car. That is bizarre.

Yeah it's a strange setup, and given how so many times when people have bad cars the advice (given here and elsewhere) is "sell it to Carvana" it really makes you wonder what their inventory is like. I don't think I'd buy anything from them.

It's like CarMax but also not at the same time.
