I'm not able to open the link. If yoir cat is clogged I would replace it if you have emissions in your state. If you don't have emissions just drive them that way if you don't notice any problems. Also before you replace the cat , try the cat cleaner solution that might work sometimes. Or just cut the cat off and put a straight pipe so you don't have to worry about replacing it. Lol.

Thanks for all your comments and tips

driving with a clogged cat can overheat your engine.   Replace it or punch through it so your engine can breathe.   Your local emissions enforcement opinion on that may vary.

@hogdoctor
he doesn't have a problem with his car. It's just a joke.

Build a hot wood and coal fire. Make sure the catalytic is in the middle of the fire and cherry red or orange hot.

Take a long metal pipe and insert into the cat and connect with duct tape to the shop vac on blow.

Blowing the fresh air in and the cat being so hot will burn out the clog and the impurities.

When it is done burning in a few hours with fresh air, the cat will work as if it is new.

My dad came up with this for my clogged cat on an 80's LTD. Worked great and car & cat lasted another 8 years.

@autoelectrical
he's not talking about catalytic converters. You need to click on his image link.
