Mr. Kilmer,
If I use Cataclean or a similer product will it work long enough to get my vehicle pass the state inspection with it having a P420 and P430 codes on? This is on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.7 liter engine.

It can work if you follow all the directions on the product. If your cats are clogged, it may clear it up. If it’s burned up from say a rich condition, it will probably not work. Rich conditions and oil burning destroy cats.
