Hi I have a 2009 Nissa Versa my engine light came on and it says system too lean bank 1 know my check engine light is flashing and my catalytic converter is making a noise what can I do can't afford to get a new catalytic converter can you please help me.

You are correct that cleaning the converter will not help if it's physically damaged.
What kind of noise is it making? Rattling? Exhaust leak? Can you make a video of the noise and upload to youtube or a file sharing site and post the link here?
A flashing check engine light means "stop driving immediately" due to a serious malfunction that can cause engine damage. What actual codes are you getting when it's scanned?

Wellford rentals it's breaking down and then it clogs up the system and you have to replace it or the car will not run right I would start there or I would just live with however it runs
