Hi,
My parents have a 2005 Honda Pilot with 75k miles and a 2008 Toyota RAV4 with 95k miles. Both vehicles have never had any AT fluid transmission maintenance done on them.
I’m thinking of getting the AT fluid transmission replace/change.
I’ve read somewhere that it’s not a good idea to change the AT fluid transmission on “high mileage cars”.
what is considered high mileage? These vehicles IMO don’t have high mileage, rather, they’re older.
Should I go ahead and replace/change them?
if so, flush or drain and fill only?
thank you!

If the transmission isn't falling apart, then absolutely keep up on the maintenance and change the fluid. Drain, fill and replace filter if any. More info in the FAQ.
Thank you!
