Check your owner’s manual, but it’s generally a good idea to change every 5,000 miles or at least once a year - whichever comes first.

We just got our 2021 Corolla Se a week ago. We're not going by the 1 yr/ 10 k mile oil change per Toyota. We plan on doing 5k or 6 months. Like Scotty says, oil's cheap; engines are expensive.

1 year or 5k miles. Whichever comes first.

That's pretty good. J changed mine at 7k

Toyota recommends every 10k miles, but thats a useless and decieving interval. Do it every 5-6k miles [8-10km for fellow Canadians) or 1 year [also 1 year for fellow Canadians].

I would NEVER go past 5000 miles without an oil change, filter and PCV valve replacement.

I always do mine at 3-4K. But that's just more of a personal preference for me. By 5K in all my cars it's almost black. You go 5K and your engine will love you long time.

Change it when it says to in the owners manual.

How many miles should you change full synthetic for a 2021 toyota corolla? My last oil change was at 4500 now I'm at 9500 and I used pennzoil platinum

Don't double post. Please and thanks.

It's a combination of miles, time and pattern of use. Frequent long-distance highway miles driver, with little idling, in temperate climates? City stop-and-go driving? Lots of short trips? Cold weather? Hot weather and dusty roads?

The first is known as "normal driving conditions." Everything else is under a "severe service schedule." For most folks, what is their normal falls under a severe service schedule, which is 5K or 6 months (whatever comes first). Forget the 10K interval. That's a gesture toward planned obsolescence.
