I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport (4 door), automatic transmission, with 109,000 miles. I am the sole owner of the vehicle, and the transmission fluid has never been changed. I believe I have heard you say that if you wait too long, then changing your transmission fluid could cause slippage. The Jeep performs very well and is my daily driver. If you were in my shoes, would you go ahead and change the fluid, or leave it alone and hope everything lasts a good while?

I won't tell you one way or the other but, if you do go ahead and do it, save ALL of the old fluid in a CLEAN container in case something goes wrong. At that point you can put the old fluid back in.
