Would my engine last longer if I changed my oil every 3000 miles instead of the usual 5000 I can go with my 2011 toyota Yaris? Or would it not really be all that beneficial?

not really. Diminishing returns and such.

No, especially if using synthetic oil.

Depending on what condition roads you drive in and your driving style otherwise your just wasting your money,
