Oil leaks

Topic starter

Changing radiator then noticed this

2008 toyota tundra v8 got ripped off 5300. Leaking coolant now I see leaking oil from 2 bolts

Anyway there are 8 cylinders.  Nothing leaking from these 8 big things.  Under these 8 big things you got 4 small bolts beneath.  One is leaking on driver side.  The other bolt that's leaking is to the left of the cylinder, and below the starter I think it is, below the cylinder not next to it and to the left facing it

Mechanic said timing cover and pcv valve cover I think

real mechanic or internet mechanic?

Just answer internet mechanic

OK so take that advice with a grain of salt. How bad is the leak? Does it drip on the ground?

It may be the timing cover leaking but you might want to clean the oil off then run the engine with some UV dye in it to find the source.

Valve cover is relatively trivial. Timing cover is not. Do the UV dye test to confirm the leakage point(s).
