Dodge Durango CEL

Hi Scotty,

I have a 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel

It has about 184k miles. I recently just replaced the TIPM. About a week after the repair my check engine light came on and it seemed like the truck was going to overheat but the needle never went past the halfway mark.  I was told it was a thermostat issue and had that replaced. Got the truck back and it drives fine but the check engine light is still on!  I dont have any codes to give you. What could it be? Are you still in Houston? Lol..

Thanks,

  • Brandon Kelly

If the check engine light is on, there should be a confirmed code stored. How are there no codes to give us?

Try a different scan tool. There should be codes if your CEL is illuminated.

Check this link for recommended mechanic in the Houston area -
