Hey Scotty. I got the Check Engine Light on in my 1998 Toyota 4Runner 201121 miles on it. I scanned using my BlueDriver OBD2 scanner and got the code P0753 (Shift Solenoid "A" Electrical). I noticed that the speedometer hesitates when accelerating but then shifts with no problem. I also checked the transmission fluid and I didn't see anything funny on it. What's your opinion? Should I change the fluid or just take it to my mechanic to get a more thorough look into it? Thank you in advance!

You probably need a new shift so and I'd realize they are very expensive and require taking part of the transmission apart including the valve body to replace but if it shifts okay may I'd leave it alone
