Hey Scotty. I have a 2007 Yaris Sedan that has a check engine light code P0138 that comes up as a high voltage for Bank 1, Sensor 2. I changed the sensor about 4 times, but the check engine light keeps coming back on. My personal mechanic checked the catalytic converter and the exhaust and said they’re working good. After that, I took my car to a shop that works only on Toyota and Lexus and they said it possibly be the thermostat and thermostat gasket that needs to be replaced which could be the problem for the check engine light to come back on multiple times. I’m a little bit irritated about my car situation. What do you think what could possibly be wrong with my car Scotty? 🤔
Have you looked up the possible causes of that code and done the troubleshooting for them? Did you test the sensor before replacement and use an OEM sensor?
