Hello Scotty, I have a 2019 VW Jetta SE with 33,500 miles and I took it to the dealership because the check engine light was on for a small evap leak and it came back on tonight two days later. What does this mean?
so I got it repaired under warranty
If the vehicle is still under warranty, let the dealership diagnose it and fix it until the problem is solved to your satisfaction.

That means you need to visit the dealership again because they did a half a.. job.
Smh… gotchu man
Hello Scotty, I have a 2019 VW Jetta SE with 33,500 miles and first I took it to O’rileys to get a diagnosis on the check engine light, it showed an evap leak but they told me to wait to see if it comes back on to make sure that’s the problem and I probably just need a new gas cap. It came back on two days later so I took it back to O’riley’s to try to get a gas cap and they didn’t have any in stock so I called advanced auto parts, and other auto part stores to see if they had any for my car, they didn’t so I had to go to the dealership and they confirmed it was actually a small leak so I got it repaired under warranty and then I’m thinking I’m good and then the check engine comes back on two days later. What does this mean ?
Small leak in EVAP system needs to be diagnosed correctly. The easiest and cheapest way is to change the gas cap but it does not always work. If it is still under warranty, take the car to the dealership and have them fix it.
Yes exactly what I did today, it’s still under warranty for a couple years so I’m just gonna keep bringing it to the dealer until
It’s fixed
