So to start things off i live outside the US, where i live we pay a huge Customs Tax on cars, so cars here are pretty expensive , and for some stupid reason used cars here don't lose that much value, we also have insanely high Gas prices, i am interested in buying a new car that is cool reliable and also saves gas, and after a lot of digging, i think MG GT 2023 and Chevrolet Captiva 2023 are the best 2 options, they both have a 1.5 liter turbo engine that doesn't consume that much fuel, they both look cool and both of them are reasonably priced where i live ( in comparison to other cars) each one of these cars cost around 30K USD, MG is a Chinese company obviously and Chevrolet even though it's an American company the Chevrolet Captiva that we have here is Made in China
I wanna hear what you guys think of both of these cars and what are your opinions/ suggestion?
they both sound bad. Do you have Toyotas there?
A new 2023 Corolla costs around 33k USD, and a new 2023 Camry costs around 43k USD
As i mentioned in my post used ones don't cost much less, so i think i will go for a new car regardless of what it is
so the Corolla costs the same as those others cars, but it's not Chinese garbage. Perfect.
i guess you are right, after a while those 2 cars are gonna be a pain in the ass and they won't last long, i am sure a Corolla would out last both of these cars combined if not more
Thanks for your help, i honestly would buy a camry today if i had the money but it's way out of my budget (even 30k is out of my budget but it's manageable) , a Corolla is a bit small that's why i haven't considered it, nonetheless i honestly think a Corolla is the best option right now
