03 silverado 4.8l V8 with 217k. Truck sits lower on driver side because of fuel tank, but the driver side rear bump stop is resting on the axle housing but the passenger side is about an inch from the housing. Could the shackle bushings be worn out? Install a lift shackle? Shocks couple yrs old. Best remedy for the problem. Thanks

I would replace the shackle bushings and get two new springs.
