We bought a Town & Country Touring mini van a few months ago. 2013 with about 110,000 miles and automatic transmission. Ocassionally it displays symptoms of what may be demon posession, or something similar. The system dings, dashboard indicators flash, RPM and odometer drop to 0 momentarilly, and then the windshield wipers swipe a couple times. It happens every few minutes. Tried a few things suggested on the internet. It worked for a while. Now it's back... Ideas of how to banish the demon?
First thing to check when dealing with electrical system glitchiness is all of the vehicle's grounds. Also check battery condition, battery terminals, and alternator output.
Could be a lot of things electrically related. Any codes? Have you checked the alternator output yet?
