Hello Scotty
I just bought a honda civic 2005 1.5L non vtec jdm sedan with a d15b stock engine
I drive calmly and stay below 3500rpm
Car has over 130000km and was maintained very well how ever it consumes 1 litre of oil every 2000km (i change the oil at 4500km)
No smoke when cold or hot
No visible oil leaks aswell
Coolant is clean
Where is the oil going ?

If you lose that much oil, you either have leaks (that you should be able to see underneath the car) or you burn it. Put your finger on the exhaust pipe and you will find greasy black stuff there.
