Scotty,
I'm 16 and I'm looking to get my first car soon. I've always been obsessed with the 1970's beetle and want to buy one. I plan on daily driving it even though it's a pretty slow car. The classic beetle has always appealed to me because of its shape, simplicity and lack of electronics. I know they can be notorious for rusting but are any other issues that I should be aware of so that I know what I'm getting myself into?

Well if and it's a big if you can find one that isn't rusted out they're very simple cars you can always get parts for them but most of them are rusted hulks by now
