i have a 2004 Chevy Silverado z71 1500 with a 5.3. 158,410 miles. i reset the check engine light and for some reason the computer still hold the monitoring codes and they wont clear. I took it to a shop and they said there are 3 monitoring code and I need to drive it 100 miles and that should clear the computer. is there any other way? please help the code it showing in a p449.

Has the underlying problem been corrected? If so the drive cycle needs to be completed for the monitors to reach ready status.
