Clicking sound when shifting from reverse to drive

2011 Chevy Suburban, Z71, automatic, 122,800 miles.  Just replaced the shift/linkage cable under the car.  When the truck is on and I shift from reverse to drive, there is a "clicking" sound quickly after it goes into gear.  It only does it when the truck is running and only from reverse to drive.  From park to drive or neutral to drive, no clicking.  The cable looks fine and it seems to drive and shift fine.

where does the sound come from?

@mountainmanjoe
It sounds like it coming from closer to the engine, almost more towards the transmission/oil pan area. I have a video of the sound as it shifts.

great can you upload it somewhere and post the link?

@mountainmanjoe
I'm not very savvy and I don't have social media. Do you have an email?  Also, it could've always done it and I just never heard it from inside the car.

Yup . I hear it. Now I'm gonna have to listen to mine to see if it clicks too, LOL.
4L60e transmission?

@mountainmanjoe
Yes, I believe so. It may just be the U joints wearing down. I hardly ever go from reverse to drive. I back into parking spots so I go from drive to reverse and park to drive the majority of the time.
