Hello I have a 2000 Toyota Camry 2.2 L four-cylinder it’s got 130,000 miles on it I recently replaced the passenger side CV axle outer tie rod and swaybar link hoping this would fix this clunking them having, CV axle will need to be replaced regardless there was clicking noises, even after a placement still noise there, so I checked all my motor mounts I’m gonna replace those soon, sometimes when I shift into reverse then letting go of the brake pedal it does the clunk as well, (nothing to do with Transmission) it shifts like butter, but what could it be? My dad thinks I should drive it till it makes an even bigger more noticeable clunk and it reveals itself, I’m generally at a loss please help
Tough one. You have most of the common stuff covered in your list.
Take it to a professional alignment shop to have the problem diagnosed before it becomes dangerous.
