My 1961 c10 pick up has a problem with the clutch. When I hold down the clutch pedal, the slave cylinder engages then slowly looses pressure. I can't hold it down for more that 2 seconds because it will not work. It has new master,slave cylinder and lines. I think it might be the slave cylinder since I was able to push the rod all the way in when I had someone hold the clutch pedal down. What could it be?

Well it's losing pressure so replace the slave cylinder and also look at any rubber hoses. Any rubber hoses in the system could be leaking on something that old
