I've got a 2008 Chevy cobalt Sport auto with 77,000 miles. For the past month, the gauges in my car would bounce back and forth and I would get multiple warnings on my dash with no CEL, complete loss of Trac control, power steering, etc. I've taken it to a Chevy dealership 4 times now for service and they have yet to solve the issue. I have already replaced the battery and the cables, replaced the gauge cluster, replaced the transmission control module and redid all of the cars grounds. There's no rhyme or reason to the failure either, I've had it happen and then I shut the car off and back on and it's perfectly fine for 4 days then it won't stop doing it just to be perfectly fine in the morning. At this point, I'm at the end of my rope and I'm about to just get a new car, any help would be appreciated
I think the car ECU is the issue. Your main computer seems to be malfunctioning.
