Scotty I have a 06 chrysler T&C van 178K automatic with code P2097. a mechanic went through the recommended checks but did'nt find the problem. the van is running a little rough but not stalling or dying. this started after I came out to leave and found a dead battery, I jumped the battery, put it in gear and started to drive and it was'nt driving right. any ideas?
the code is 2097 not P0297
Since it happened after an event (dead battery) I'd try to erase the code and see if it still runs rough and code comes back. With that code, it will be running off a safe mode which may not run correctly.
If there truly is an issue then the code will come back and you can be sure that it's an issue, but just a one time trigger from a dead battery.
