Hi! I have a 2000 Toyota Rav4 that has a coolant leak. However, it only leaks if the A/C is on or off. If the heater is on there is no leak at all.
I have done the UV liquid test and I can't see where it might be leaking from.
Help! I live in Texas! Can't run the heater forever LoL!

are you sure it is a leak in your cooling water pipes? it could also be a leak in your air conditioning pipes
I would focus on looking at the radiator for a pinhole leak, or cracked housing... those leaks can be hard to see, especially since the radiator is sandwiched between the A/C condensor and the fan shroud. Hot weather just might make the leak a little faster, and the air circulating through it blows the drops away and makes finding the hole that much harder.
