Hey guys, i just purchased a 01 f150.
I was told the engine was swapped, so i have no idea what engine is in it, i think its the 4.6L but i dont realllly know.
Anyways i want to do a coolant flush but i cant figure out what coolant to use, I have no idea what coolant is in the engine right now, i attached a picture of it.
The manual says
"Add Motorcraft Premium Engine Coolant (green-colored),
VC-4–A (U.S.) or CXC-10 (Canada) or Motorcraft Premium
Gold Engine Coolant (yellow-colored), VC-7–A, depending on
the type of coolant originally equipped in your vehicle. "
But again, that would be for the factory engine.
I'm a bit lost right now.
Any help appreciated.

^ Theres a link to a video showing the current coolant.
You can use any modern long life coolant just flush the old stuff out and put the new stuff in it's all backwards compatible and it is a better coolant
Does the color matter? should i just flush it and put one of the ones the manual says? (green/gold)? does it not really matter? I just don't want to damage the engine any. - Thanks again!
The color doesn't matter. ANY new 50/50 coolant available anywhere will be just fine.
