Hi Scotty, I have a 2006 Volvo S60 2.5T awd with 64k miles on it. The cars cooling fan reccently started turning on when I start my car even when the engine is completely cold. It stays on until I turn my car off. What could cause this? The fan also sounds louder than it should... louder than the engine.
electric fan, or crankshaft driven fan?

Did you do any repair on the car? If not, change the fan relay.

Does it turn off if you disconnect the connector to the coolant temperature sensor?
If yes, it’s the sensor. If it continues running, it might be the relay.
