I recently bought a Toyota Corolla 1.8 Hybrid Sedan 2022 (Europe). Bought it from a Toyota dealership with 15.000km. Everything is fine except for the fact that two people told me the back seat gets warm/heated(i know tthe battery is underneath). Now obviously I drive the car and I didn’t get to see how warm it gets but nevertheless i’m not sure it’s supposed to get warm at all. It’s winter here now so there are about 2 - 14 degrees Celsius outside. Any idea if this is normal behavior? Is there something I should be concerned about? Thank you
Well it's definitely not supposed to get warm so have the battery and alternator load tested. Also check for corrosion or loose battery wiring connectors because if they lose their corroded they'll heat up
