Hi Scotty, I made up this rhyme about what countries make a decent car and which countries to stay away from. I thought you might like it.

Note: As an Upstate New Yorker, you know that we Canadians pronounce Z as Zed, the British Commonwealth way, so that is why Z in the poem rhymes with dead.

It's important to know where your car is made. Not all countries are as good as others. The first digit of your VIN is the country of manufacture. Here is the list. I wrote a poem to help you out.
1 or 4 or 5 - USA
2 - Canada
3 - Mexico
J - Japan
K - Korea
Z - Italy
W - Germany
S - UK
OK, here is the poem. I hope I don't make Maya Angelou too jealous.
If it starts with 3, it's not for me
If it starts with 2, this car's for you
If it starts with J, it's A-OK
But if it starts with K, just say No Way
If it starts with Z, it might be dead
If it starts with W, it just might trouble you
If it starts with S, it's broke, I guess
