Hey, I drive a 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited w/a 2.0. With 230k mi. I recently replaced: oxygen sensor, spark plugs & ignition coils, MAP sensor, fuel pump, New crankshaft position sensor. No check engine light but when I drive about 5-10 miles and come to a stop, the car stalls and dies. What am I missing ? Do I clean the crank sensor and try it again or ? What can be the stalling cause Still with No check engine light ?
What can be the stalling cause Still with No check engine light ?
Hundreds of different things. The parts cannon approach almost never works, you need to do some diagnostics. (Was there any reason to believe all those parts needed to be replaced?) Have you checked the basics such as load-testing your battery and alternator, looking for vacuum leaks, checking filters, checking fuel pressure, etc.? Did your old spark plugs display any evidence of abnormalities?
Aside from those fundamental items your starting point would be checking for codes as well as recording a snapshot of live data when the problem occurs for analysis. Depending on the cause it may require a professional-grade scan tool, maybe an oscilloscope, to find the culprit.
What lead you to replace all those components?
