Hello newly a fan of your page. Very informative. I have a 2011 Honda Fit sport m/t. With 250k miles. Runs like new. But I’ve noticed in the mornings when it’s cooler my front suspension creaks going over speed bumps or even turning. Any ideas as to what that could be? Thank you!
The rubber parts are dry and cold weather makes them to creak. Spray some AT205 if the noise really bothers you.
In addition to @yaser ‘s advice, I’ll add - spray the rubber bushings one at a time (each on a different day), so you can pinpoint the culprit that’s creaking..
I was kinda hoping to replace the parts. Or the bushings if that’s the issue. Ik it’s an older car, I’d like to make it last as long as possible. But I’ll give it a try
Then try this technique. The usual suspects are the control arm bushings, especially if they’re still the original >10yr old ones -
ITWT was suggesting to spray the parts in order to LOCATE the issue. Once you know which part it is, you can replace it.
