Hi im looking for a gsxr and found a 2006 gsxr 1000 with 17000 miles for 6700. Is that good or is it too high of mileage?

Used bikes are like used sports cars - ridden sensibly and maintained, I've seen bikes well above 50 or 60 k with no problems, ridden ham-fisted and not maintained, they can be junk before 5K. Check the condition end-to-end, do a compression check,make sure it shifts clean and the clutch isn't slipping, look for hooked teeth on the sprockets, etc.

Sounds like alot especially with that mileage.
The mileage isn't too bad depending on how it was ridden but $6700 is more than double what I would pay for it. Remember, it is 16 years old.
