Cruise control not working

Hello I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado la 1500 with 115,286 miles and I used my blue driver thank you Scotty so I don’t have cruise control and when I did a scan I got code p0724 but my brake lights work I have the truck 5 years and no cruise control but everything else works as it should thankfully would clearing the code do anything or would it make it worse. You'll have to find schematics for the brake switches (there can more than one, so brake lights doesn't mean it works). Check charm.li

Diagnose the circuits to make sure they work. Both the transmission and cruise control utilize them.

You've posted about a loose brake pedal before, so it's likely related.
