I’m anal retentive about my car, replace parts as needed. Car generally runs smooth like butter.
2014 VW GLI. 180k miles. Replaced motor mounts (034 Motorsport - stiffer solid 60 dur rubber), new Bilstein B4 shocks, new upgraded front stabilizer bars. All parts installed by mechanic shop. But my car makes a crunching noise on front drivers side when hitting bumps and dips.
Could it be front sway bar bushings or something more serious to be concerned about?
VW tries to sell entire front sway bar. Hard to find just bushings on this model.
Or something more serious?
Probably a good idea to watch Scotty’s video on how to find the source of car noises & pinpoint the source of that noise before you go changing parts.
