So I recently attempted to change the driver side cv axle. But the one autozone gave me ,I could not get all the way in so I end up putting old one back in. And now I hear squeaking when I drive straight . So what could be the problem and how do I fix it? It had leaked alot of transmission fluid so I did replace the seal and fluid . But it still squeals here and there, but it did not before. Please help. 2006 toyota corolla
What was the cause for the CV axle repair? Was the old one already clicking?
Well, make sure there's nothing rubbing where the shaft goes into the transmission, but if it isn't, unfortunately if you leak that a lot of fluid it can do some internal damage and sometimes the transmissions will make noise from. The wear occurred before you fix the leak
