Is towing with a cvt a good idea. I got a 2018 corolla and I want to get a small uhaul cargo trailer to tow some stuff to a new place ill live. From what I read, corolla can safely tow under 1500 ibs. Any insight on to towing with a corolla?

I think even with the small trailer plus load you will be over the 1500 lbs. Going say 25-30 miles OK. A big trip I would not do.

Its a big trip ha ha. From New Hampshire to Arizona. Also I would count the trailer weight as part of the tow weight. Maybe 1000 ibs is safer? (Trailer included in the weight)

Rent a truck. Do not put load on your corolla if you want to keep the car.
