I have 14 Altima and when i come to a red light i change the gear from drive to neutral cause here in dubai signals sometimes are of 60 seconds or more or even less is it a good thing to put it on neutral or just leave it on drive for 30 seconds or so and hold the brake ?

Scotty answered this question and said to not do it especially if you have a Nissan loL.
you could always use the parking brake instead of neutral and holding the brake.
