98 dakota dies while driving. V6, automatic trans. 134k miles. New battery, 2 new oxygen sensors. Checked distributor cap and rotor. Found a little white chalky corrosion on posts. Wire brushed it off. Don't think that is the problem. No check engine light yet. What else to check? I am at a loss.

What else to check?

Checking codes and live data would be a good start. You might also check the usual suspects like filters, fuel pressure, spark plugs, and vacuum leaks.

At this time there are no codes. Don't have the equipment to check fuel pressure.

You may be able to borrow a fuel pressure gauge from an auto parts store such as AutoZone.

Your fuel pump may be starting to go out. Vehicles don't have codes to trip a CEL with that vintage. Check the fuel filter before you just throw parts at it and hope that fixes it. Rent afuel pressure tester as well. It should always maintain 60 PSI for regular fuel injection. If it's below 60 PSI and the fuel filter is clean, change the fuel pump with an OEM one. Don't cheap out and get 3rd party aftermarket crap that's made in China.
