Happy Holidays Scotty!
I have a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan with 180,000 km in Montreal, QC and it is winter. When I took off from a stop I had a brief loss of traction due to snow/ice on the road. All of the following lights came on and stayed on: ESP/BAS, ABS, BRAKE, TRACTION CONTROL. Once the lights were on I tested and confirmed the ABS brakes were no longer working. Car drove and stopped fine but the safety systems were definitely disabled. I pulled over and cycled the engine; the codes went away. I drove and tested the ABS brakes and they were working so I was hoping it was just a gremlin. No such luck; at the next intersection I again lost traction going from full stop due to road conditions and all the lights turned on again the ABS brake system turned off.
Every time I cycle the engine the lights do not appear at start-up. I can drive for days without the lights coming on again but as soon as I lose traction in the slightest the lights all come on the the ABS system shuts off.
Any suggestions? I would prefer to have these systems working but I also do not want to put good money after bad into a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan.
My check airbag light has been on for years and I know that means they will not activate in a collision; I wear a seatbelt. I changed that stupid module 2 times under warrenty and one time out of my own pocket and it was over $500 for a computer module that I felt would continue to fail over time.

You would need to have the brake control module scanned at a dealer.
