I am huge fan of your videos and I use your tips quite often to keep my car up and running.
like alot of us money is tight so I sold my 2014 yukon xl for a 08 lexus 350 which I watched your videos for approval....
I purchased with confidence the vehicle with 235k on it...
I recently took it to the dealership and they said I needed a rear main seal and coolant gasket but I don't see any oil drippings under or behind the car...are they trying to get over on a 3200.00 dealer bill?
just your thoughts as I was taught that if the RMS is leaking their would be some evidence.

They're probably trying to rip you off. Stay away from dealers and chain shops, find a good independent mechanic.
I err on the side of scam. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been upsold unnecessary things at the dealer.
Obviously, keep an eye on your oil level, drippings, and coolant levels.

You can do that yourself, just put some leak dye for engine oil in the oil pan. If it's leaking, under a UV light, you will notice right away. If it's actually the rear main, just keep a few extra quarts of oil in the trunk. It may seep a little oil. If it does, AT-205 may work, especially if it's just hardened.

You either misheard what the dealer told you, or the mechanic doesn't know what he's talking about. There are no gaskets in your cooling system. All it is, is systems pipes and tubes. A heater core, radiator and the engine block. There's no gasket.
If you can't do it yourself, find an independent shop on Yelp. Not all reviews are genuine, but you can usually sniff out the bull. All dealerships have a tremendous overhead that has to be paid for. Best of luck!
