Hey Scotty, I've got a 2013 Nissan Juke SV given to me by my parents. It's got 80k miles on it with an automatic transmission. Inspection from a mechanic says the car is in good shape. Would it be wise to sell the car while it's in good condition and get an older CRV or RAV4 with similar mileage? I put a lot of miles on the car and want something that'll last a long time. Thanks a ton, Phoenix.
Ps- the clunker already needed a transmission swap at 60k miles but thankfully it was under warranty.
Sell it.
I would sell it while the market is hot and get a more reliable vehicle like the Toyota or Honda you mentioned. You say you want it to last for a long time (so presumably you will keep it for a long time as well) so it would be worth the premium in this market to make the move.
