I used to live in South Side Place, East of River Oaks Shopping Center, a blast from the past.
Now in Ballwin MO. and have followed you just a couple of years before your left Houston, TX.
On onto my question,I have a 2013 Jeep Patriot Sport, that may have a fuel pump pressure issue, there is no fuel rail Schrader valve. I have been leaning towards the XTOOL D8 for sometime. A church friend has a ODB2 reader, $5 K or so that PSI could be read and returned fuel pump nominal but could display the actual pressure. I was told that some manufactures hide or restrict some reading unless dealer is involved.
Has your experience lead you to believe that this reader could read the PSI.
The Jeep has some take off or acceleration issues. Around 90K miles, I replaced the spark plugs, coils, PCV valve which help the power delivery. I would like to check the fuel PSI to rule out since the next step could be those famous power distribution boxes.
Thank you, Jim Fillion.
Why couldn't say for sure but I have a d8 and it reads fuel pressure on a bunch of other Chrysler products I've used it on. But I've never worked on your particular vehicle so I couldn't say for sure
Thank you for your prompt reply, I re-edited it before I saw your reply. Jim F.
