Hi Scotty,
Chase Mitchell here. I recently bought a 2006 Lexus Rx 400h. The vehicle seems to be an awesome vehicle, it does have higher miles but the quality and drive of this vehicle is awesome! I was kind of scary buying a older model hybrid but the vehicle uses no oil in between oil changes and all it hasn't let me down. I'm driving across country in February to Arizona which is about 1500 miles away so just wanted your input.

i would change spark plugs, replace oil before the trip and check/change air filters, as well as the cabin air filter. take a scan tool and record ur veh parameters. so when something goes wrong you can check em again and compare. also i would add some injector cleaner before that trip when u fill ur tank. Take a look at ur tires thread and air psi look for cracks, take a look at leakin shock etc, basically do a pretrip since it has highmiles its better to fix at home than on the road. have ur tran
powersteering fluid ,brake fluid. also trans fluid changed if safe to do. as well as ur antifreeze, safe trip.
