  1. Hey scotty I wanna buy a rv to drive family and friends across the country, should I look for gasoline or diesel I think a diesel will probably last longer. What do you think and what should i look for/ look out for. Thanks

Diesel is the only real choice for an RV. Plus if you wind up wanting to tow a toy behind it, like a Jeep or something, you won't have any worries about it being able to do so safely.

Say no to gasoline with those RVs. Longevity is not there and a good ol dirty diesel loves to work and haul heavy.

Go diesel... It'll end up lasting longer. Just take care of it and it'll take care of you.

I would go with diesel for an RV.

I would go for the diesel because of fuel economy and they last longer.

The diesel will definitely give you better fuel economy. Although I have heard people say that with diesels, what you save in fuel you spend in repairs.
