[Solved] Diesel to LPG Conversion?

Hi folks,

I live in the UK where the government hates people driving cars and can't be bothered to fill up petrol stations. We pay about £1.50/L or more for petrol and diesel. I've found a company that can apparently convert a diesel to LPG: https://www.ozonlpg.com/diesellpg.html

A quote:

"The LPG enters the engine along with the air and mixed before entering the intake manifold. With turbo and intercooled engines a similiar system is used. But in this case the gas is pushed into the engine at a slightly higher pressure than the intake manifold."

Reading further along, I think they're saying they mix diesel with LPG. I've currently got a Lexus IS220D that I'm really happy with, and I wouldn't risk this until I got a second backup car.

But if I went ahead with this (because it lowers emissions so much) I could go ahead and blank off the EGR valve, and have a car that ran lower on emissions than when it was installed. Just to complicate things further, I'd have to ask them what the ratio of air-fuel-LPG would be in place of air-fuel-exhaust and how this might effect the engine temperature.

But it's something I'm considering. Biggest problem is - the government hates people driving cars, wants to save the planet, so can't be bothered to build any LPG gas stations. {black}

Well I don't know if I trust the company like that you make the mixture wrong and the engine will blow up.

Thanks Scotty. I thought it sounded too good to be true. You're awesome - it's great that you find the time to answer questions like this.
