2011 Honda Accord V6 3.5L
This car has around 150K miles on it and I’ve started to hear noises coming from the transmission area after recently putting new CV axles in both sides. Car drives fine and shifts fine between all gears, but the noise is noticeable enough to worry me. Clunk noise mainly happens when shifting out of park into drive or reverse as well as when I’m stopping for red lights. Transmission fluid is at proper level and was changed probably about 15K miles ago. This has been killing me for weeks now and I’m not sure if it’s the new CV axles or the actual transmission. Thanks!
I put a link to a video attempting to show any movement or noises below.

Check engine and transmission mounts.
@chucktobias adding a YouTube video that seems to be the same noise. Could this be mounts as well? https://youtube.com/shorts/-Abrg25f0A8?si=3OkKtWBQpB9rHCxO
@chucktobias I also got the axles from 1A auto… not sure if that’s a junk site or not… wonder if they could be the problem since I never heard the noise until I put them in.
You can see the transmission moving around in that video, so yes that could be engine mounts. They're easy enough to check so why not do that and be certain?
@chucktobias will take a look as soon as I can thanks!
